What makes Pic’s so special? They contain a much greater proportion of Oleic acid compared to normal peanuts (75% vs. 55%). Diets high in monounsaturated fat such as Oleic acid have been shown to: (1) improve our cholesterol profile by reducing dangerous LDL cholesterol and (2) reduce the amount of fat we carry in our blood, also known as triglycerides.
