DUGOS (Wild Forest Honey) is a one ingredient product laboriously made by the wild bees found in the forests of Surigao, and Agusan, Mindanao. Its dark color and complex flavor are mainly because it came from numerous nectars of wild flowers and trees (miscellaneous and undefined flower and tree sources). Thus, it contains higher anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial level, mineral content and greater nutritional and therapeutic benefits than most regular farm-based honey.
Usares Wild Forest Honey is never farm-based nor cultured honey. It is harvested in a traditional way by the Mansaka, Manobo, and Kamayo communities to make it sustainable. It is considered as a natural vitamin.
